Windows device driver information for Apricot Standard VGA 640x480 Monitor
Apricot Standard VGA 640 x 480 Monitor features the standard VGA 640 x 480 mode. VGA is an acronym for Video Graphics Array and isused specifically in reference to display hardware which was initially introduced to IBM PS/2 computer line in the year 1987. However, with its continuous use, the use of the term VGA has come to refer to the display standard of analog computers the 15 pin D-Sub VGA connector or the resolution of 640 x 480; hence the term VGA 640 x 480 mode. Though the 640 x 480 resolution mode has been surpassed by other resolutions in the market for personal computers, it is becoming a favorite resolution for use on mobile products. Apricot uses the video grahics Array (VGA) graphics standard as the video input for their modern monitors which perform at a very high resolution.
